It seems that's the case in the United Kingdom, at least according to this article. A lot of it has to do with taking the side of traditional marriage. I can totally understand their point of view. It's not easy to pick up the cross. That's why we need to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters and pray for the Church. It's hard to take that initial step in defending your faith, but I know from experience it gets easier every time, especially with education. Here's just another reason why we need better catechesis.
