Have you ever heard of Nicolo Milioto? If he wasn't so infamous, this might actually be funny... well, maybe it still is funny, in a dark way. He testified at Quebec's Charbonneau Commission last year, the inquiry that's been looking into allegations of corruption involving the province's construction industry. This guy Milioto is nicknamed Mr. Sidewalk... in part, because his company got a lot of contracts to build sidewalks, but also because (allegedly) he was overheard threatening to bury people under one of his sidewalks. Anyway, he was being asked questions about whether or not he was a middle man for the mob. His response... "I have no idea what the Mafia is." WOW! Well, I thought about that guy when I saw this story about Pope Francis and his message to the mafia.
